Bonnie "Lynn" (Woods) Moore, of Goderich, died unexpectedly, at home, Oct. 23, 2026, at the age of 74.
She was born March 12, 1952, in Almonte.
Throughout her life, caring for others came naturally to her, whether they had two legs or four. She worked as a Registered Nursing Assistant and later as a Registered Veterinary Technician, and gave her time as a volunteer at the local animal shelter. Her love for animals was fierce and enduring, and she shared her life and home with many beloved companions.
Lynn was also endlessly creative. An avid sewist and fibre artist, she especially loved knitting and quilting, creating beautiful things with patience, skill, and care.
Above all, Lynn was a loving mother, sister, and friend.
Beloved mother of Jennifer, Adam, and Douglas; daughter of Edna and Maurice Woods, and Hazel and Stewart Eady; and sister of Beth, Blair, Lois, Bethea, Norma, Wallace, Lloyd, Keith.
Her cherished dogs, Wishus, Mycah, Abby, Desi, and Zuul, were an important part of her family and her life.
A private service was held for Lynn’s children. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour Lynn’s memory, are invited to make a donation to the Humane Society or a local animal shelter, a fitting tribute to someone whose love and compassion for animals were such an important part of who she was.
“One to beam up, Scotty. Live long and prosper.”
