Beach safety just makes sense, says reader

To the Editor:
RE: "Kincardine loses Blue Flag status; safety audit calls for $30,000 in improvements"

The recommendations sound VERY reasonable to get the Blue Flag reinstated.

Safety just makes sense. I was amazed there were no warning signs and information about rip-tides there in the first place.

I hope Kincardine will act on these recommendations to encourage safe swimming.

There are also no flags for warning when there is an undertow and dangerous waves for swimming.

I love when countries have the flag system of red, yellow and green flags to indicate safety of swimming.
