Find a way to store power, not produce more, says reader
To the Editor:
RE: "Environmental commissioner hears concerns about wind turbines, says Huron-Bruce MPP"

I totally agree with the sentiment of why would one build more hydro generation of any kind, let alone projects that drive the price of hydro up even more?

How ironic that rural Ontario, being punished to the largest degree with unaffordable hydro costs, is also burdened with the sight, sound and loss of oversight on the ramifications these massive projects pose.

Before more money is wasted on unaffordable, ineffective hydro generation that is not required, why not spend the money to provide a means to store the power we already produce, allowing for less money wasted ridding ourselves of excess hydro generation?

If we could control it, maybe we could actually sell it to make money when other jurisdictions are in need, instead of losing money. Wouldn't that be something?
