Municipal parking lot entrance now a smooth ride

It's been a long time coming, but the entrance to the municipal parking lot, east of Queen Street, Kincardine, is now a smooth ride.

Work began on the project back in May, including a new watermain, improved drainage and grading, an island for streetlighting and landscaping, and a location for an electric vehicle charging station, at a cost of almost $600,000.

Kempton Construction of Amberley has completed the reconstruction and paving, with just some minor cosmetic work remaining - just in time for the Kincardine Scottish Festival and Highland Games, July 1-3, at Victoria Park.
