Kincardine holding ceremony to rename clinic in honour of Duncan Hawthorne

The Municipality of Kincardine will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday, July 4, to officially rename the Kincardine Community Medical Clinic in honour of Duncan Hawthorne.

The ceremony begins at 11 a.m., at the clinic, located at 1201 Queen Street (formerly 44 Queen Street), adjacent to the Kincardine hospital.

In recognition of the many achievements and contributions to Kincardine and the surrounding communities, by the retired Bruce Power president and chief executive officer, the facility will be renamed the "Hawthorne Community Clinic."
