(CHESLEY, ON) – June 30, the OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, West Region Emergency Response Team, and South Bruce OPP executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence on 3rd Street, in the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, police seized methamphetamine, heroin, fentanyl, morphine, oxycodone, hydromorphone, psilocybin cannabis marijuana, cannabis resin, nabilone, anavar, and dianabol. The estimated, combined street value of the seized controlled substances is $17,000.
Police also seized offence-related property that consisted of drug trafficking paraphernalia, along with three prohibited weapons, a firearm, bear spray, and an assortment of ammunition.
Fifty-five-year-old Lance BELL of Arran-Elderslie Township has been charged with six counts of assault police, 13 counts of possess a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, six counts of administer noxious substance, three counts of possess a prohibited weapon, possess a firearm without a licence, breach firearms regulations, possess firearm while prohibited, three counts of possess ammunition while prohibited and three counts of possess prohibited weapon while prohibited.
Thirty-year-old Robert St. JEAN of Arran-Elderslie Township has been charged with six counts of assault police, 13 counts of possess a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, six counts of administer noxious substance, three counts of possess a prohibited weapon, breach firearms regulations and possess firearm without a licence.
Thirty-three-year old-Jennifer ALBERT of Arran-Elderslie Township has been charged with six counts of assault police, 13 counts of possess a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, six counts of administer noxious substance, three counts of possess a prohibited weapon, breach firearms regulations and possess a firearm without a licence.
The accused were all held in custody pending the results of a bail hearing.
The officers were treated for minor injuries by Bruce County paramedics at the scene.
