Westario Power launches Home Energy Assessment Program for residential customers
Westario Power Inc. has launched the ‘Home Energy Assessment Program’, a new local Save On Energy pilot program designed to assist customers with reducing their energy costs at home.
The program offers residential customers a complimentary energy audit to help them learn how to conserve energy, with the potential to receive up to $500 in FREE energy-saving upgrades.
Energy audits and product installations will be completed by Westario Power's appointed contractor in one visit at the qualifying customer's home. Items such as LED bulbs, smart power strips, faucet aerators, weatherization items and low-flow showerheads, are among the products customers may receive free of charge.
"The 'Home Energy Assessment Program' is a first of its kind in Ontario and will offer Westario Power customers a unique opportunity to learn more about how they use energy at home and then instantly save with the free upgrades," said Paul McGinn, energy conservation officer at Westario Power Inc. "Customers will have the opportunity to save up to 20 per cent on their electricity bills once all the products are installed."
Customers who are interested in participating may sign-up on the official program website -
www.assessmyenergy.ca - or by calling 1-866-988-5029 to schedule an appointment.
To qualify, customers must have an account in good standing with Westario Power, an electrically-heated home, and their property must be a non-seasonal residence.
The program is funded by the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) and is a limited time offer, only available while quantities last.
