Tiverton Knox Presbyterian Church will be holding its annual Summer Salad Supper, Tuesday, July 12, from 4:30-6:30 p.m., at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre in Tiverton.
The church is also hosting a barbecue lunch, Monday, July 18, at Noon. Come and enjoy hamburgers, sausage and dessert for a donation to the new chairs for the church activity room fund.

July 16, is the annual Yard and Bake Sale. Rain date will be Sunday, July 17. Location is the Upper Park on Bruce Road 15 and Albert Street. Enjoy this fun and social event where friends and family catch up and find deals on second-hand items. Tables will be $5 each.
Tiverton Library news
Join us at the Tiverton Library every Thursday this month at 3:30 p.m. to participate in the TD Summer Reading Club. Our theme this summer is “WILD!" Thursday, July 14, we will be talking about bird migration and doing a fun craft. Call 519-368-5655. Library hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 1:30-7 p.m., Friday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m, and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; closed Sunday and Wednesday.
The Tiverton Agricultural Society will be hosting a Roast Beef Dinner at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre, Tiverton, Sunday, July 24, at 5:30 p.m. Cost is $18 for adults, $9 for children age five to 12, and free for children under age five. Manor Musings
The residents of Tiverton Park Manor enjoyed the Kincardine Canada Day fireworks. Even though the wind was wild, the fireworks were wonderful. The long wait was well worth it and we’re looking forward to next year. Great job!
The Manor residents also took a trip to the St. Jacobs Market. It was a long drive and even though one of the buildings was closed due to a previous fire, there were plenty of vendors selling great items.
Tiverton Park Manor residents will again be hosting their annual Cruise Night, Wednesday, Aug. 17. This event has been a success in the past with up to 50 vehicles participating. Everyone is welcome to come out and view these vehicles and enjoy our donation barbecue, with all proceeds going to the residents' activities. The event starts at 5 p.m. and there is no need to register, just come on out. As in the past, there will be prizes, local musicians and lots of vehicles. Mark this date on your calendar.
