(HURON TWP, ON) – July 25, at 12:49 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 21 and Concession 12 in Huron Township.
Officers arrived to find that a black Volkswagen was stopped in the northbound lane of Highway 21, waiting to turn, when it was struck from behind by a blue Hyundai Santa Fe that was also northbound on Highway 21.
The driver of the Santa Fe, 67-year-old James HANNIMAN of Huron Township, was charged with careless driving. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
