Kincardine should shelve shoreline protection plan for now, says writer

To the Editor:
RE: "In Kincardine, a healthy dose of skepticism is a good thing"

You hit the nail on the head, Liz. 

I wish Kincardine council would put the shoreline protection plan back on the agenda before the fall, decide one way or the other if the project is a go, and put an end to it. 

If council is not moving ahead with this project or doing something else, that would be good to know also.

However, if council waits until September to decide, I won't be able to get tourist signatures on a petition.

Everywhere I go, I have met with overwhelming support, from locals and tourists, to shelve this plan.
