Perfect weather, another great crowd for second Kincardine Cruise Night of the summer
A smattering of rain Friday morning did not deter the large number of car, truck and motorcycle enthusiasts from gathering that evening for the second Cruise Night of the summer, in downtown Kincardine.
A great crowd turned out, and there were lots of vehicles to see.
Of note, was the 1969 Plymouth Barracuda, owned by Jim Bagshaw of Kincardine. This vintage sports car has some original parts (318, automatic, console and factory AC), with lots of modifications, including a 6.1-L Hemi, FAST XFI 2.0 fuel injection, TTI headers and exhaust, March Performance accessory drive, A-855 five speed manual OD transmission, RMS AlterKtion coil-over front suspension, RMS Street-Lynx coil-over rear suspension, Moser 8 3/4, 3.91 rear axle, TruTrac; Wilwood 12.19" disk brakes, and Bullitt wheels, 17" X 8".
Other vehicles of interest were the 1919 Buick owned by Dale and Mary McKean of Durham; the 1959 Ford Fairlane retractable owned by Mike Pinkerton of Tiverton; the 1957 Fargo owned by Rob Shewfelt; the 1969 Corvette owned by Kevin and Loretta Smith of Ripley; and the 1974 Volkswagen Beetle owned by Josh Embro of Hanover.
The final Cruise Night of the summer will be held Friday, Sept. 2, from 6-9 p.m., in downtown Kincardine.
