Youngsters enjoy Barnyard Roundup at Vacation Bible School in Tiverton
About 35 youngsters enjoyed crafts, games, songs and more, at the opening day of Vacation Bible School, Monday morning, at Knox Presbyterian Church, Tiverton.
Under the theme, "Barnyard Roundup - Jesus Gathers Us Together," the leaders and children were studying the 23rd Psalm, looking at individual verses and learning songs about God's love and caring for each of us, now and forever.
Monday's games were a harvest vegetable relay, and a water balloon relay, while inside, youth were making sheep to match the memory verse, "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want," and singing songs, all while wearing colourful bandanas.
The Vacation Bible School continues through Friday, from 9 a.m. to Noon, at the church.
Friday at noon, family and friends are invited to watch the children perform the songs they have learned, followed by hot dogs and ice cream.
