Manor Musings
Tiverton Park Manor is hosting its Cruise Night, this Wednesday, Aug. 17, at 5 p.m. with a barbecue, music and prizes. Everyone is welcome to come out and admire the beautiful rides. Last year, we had 55 vehicles and it is growing each year.
Tiverton Park Manor residents were again invited to the annual Kincardine Rotary Seniors Picnic, held Tuesday, Aug. 9, at the Kincardine Pavilion. Each year, the Rotary Club hosts this event for residents of the senior homes in the area, including Tiverton Park Manor, Malcolm Place, Trillium Court and RVilla. This picnic has been going on for more than 15 years with it originally being held at the Rotary Park across from the Kincardine Harbour. It was moved to the pavilion seven years ago. The Rotarian organizers are Jason Finner and Barry Schmidt, along with many helpers, caterer Karen McLelland-Seal and her husband, Lorne Seal, with his band members. This year, there were about 75 seniors along with staff from each residence. Thank you again, Kincardine Rotary, for the wonderful day and we look forward to next year.
