Dark storm clouds began forming over Lake Huron, mid-afternoon Wednesday, and gradually advanced, bringing thunder, lightning and heavy rain over the Kincardine area.
It was quite a sight to see as the strange cloud formations gathered and then turned darker, with a puffy white top layer. The wind picked up, forcing the clouds to pick up speed and dump the severe weather as they moved across Lake Range Drive toward Highway 21.
A couple of hours later, the sun was shining and the storm was gone as if it had never happened.
