A vehicle crashed into the main entrance to the Kincardine Cemetery, very early Thursday morning, taking out a portion of the west-side stone pillar.

The South Bruce OPP was called to the scene at 12:45 a.m., Aug. 18, where police discovered a Honda CRV had collided with the pillar at the cemetery.

There was extensive damage to the front end of the Honda, police said. The lone female driver, of Kincardine Township, was taken to hospital by ambulance.
