Ontario Power Generation (OPG) and Penetangear have thrown their support behind the All Abilities Beachside Run, slated for this Sunday, Sept. 4, at Station Beach, Kincardine.
Lynda Cain of OPG has presented a donation of $1,000 for the cause, while Penetangear is presenting the prizes for the top three overall male and female runners in both the five-kilometre and 10-kilometre races. First-place finishers will receive a Sugio Zap Run Jacket, second place will win a Nathan Hydration and Run Pack, and third-place finishers will win 2XU Compression Socks.

All children completing the Kids and Family Run will receive medals, and top fund-raisers will be presented with Penetangear gift certificates, and will be entered to win prizes from numerous community businesses.
The event is being hosted by Community Living of Kincardine and District. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun, with registration at 7:30 a.m., the kids race at 8:30 a.m., and the main event beginning at 9 a.m.
Take part in the five-kilometre run; the 10-kilometre run; the two-kilometre, fully-accessible fund-raising walk; or the NEW three-kilometre kids and family fun run!
Community Living appreciates the Rotary Club of Kincardine for organizing this fantastic event for the past three years. It is one of the most picturesque running routes in the area and is perfect for beginners and experienced runners, alike.
