The Kincardine and District Lions Club was recently on the receiving end of a donation of $7,500, the final amount of the pledge from Bruce Power, in support of the Splash Pad, located beside Lions Park at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine.

The majority of the work is completed on the Splash Pad project, with the final cost at more than $500,000. The Lions Club spearheaded the project, with assistance from the Municipality of Kincardine, and donations from the community, including individuals, businesses and corporations.

The Kincardine and District Lions Club also recently presented a donation of $1,000 to the Kincardine Minor Baseball Association for a team sponsorship and to assist with the Brett Saberhagen Baseball Camp in July. Doug Kennedy of Boston Pizza also made a presentation to the minor ball association.
