Presbyterian Churches in Tiverton, Glammis welcome new minister
The two-point charge of Knox Presbyterian Church in Tiverton and St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Glammis, has a new minister.

Rev. David Chang was officially inducted and ordained, Sunday night at Knox Church.

Rev. Dana Benson, moderator of the Grey-Bruce-Maitland Presbytery, conducted the service, with a message by Rev. Mark Davidson of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Wiarton, and special music by Chang and his wife, Yoomi Kim, and by his brother, Wonkyun Chang.

Special guests were members of Chang's family, including his parents, Yunyul and Heesuk Chang, and Rev. Minho Yoo and Ralph Oliver of Carberry, Manitoba, where Chang served before coming to Tiverton.

Following the service, everyone enjoyed refreshments in the activity room downstairs.

The two-point charge has been without a full-time minister since Rev. Jeanette Fleischer retired in December, 2015. Student intern, Rev. Paul Ko, served for the months of June, July and August, and Chang took over Sept. 1.
