There was a printing error in the "Caramel Apple Cake" recipe on Page 52 of the Tiverton Fall Fair book. It should read: "2 cups peeled apples and 3/4 cup toffee Skor bits."
The Saturday night Fair Dance will feature "Urban Rodeo," back by popular demand.

Friday night, beginning at 7 p.m., an "All Ages Home Run Derby" under the lights on the front ball diamond. Come and join in the fun! Register your team of four today - $5 per person, age 12-plus. CHURCH NEWS
The Presbytery of Grey-Bruce-Maitland held a service of induction and ordination for Euikyun "David" Chang into the pastoral charge of Knox Tiverton and St. Paul's Glammis Presbyterian Churches, Sunday, Sept. 11, at Knox Presbyterian Church, Tiverton. David's parents, Yunyul and Heesuk Chang, and brother, Wonkyun Chang, travelled from Korea to be in attendance at the ordination service. Also in attendance were David's aunt and uncle from Los Angeles, California. David's gown and stole were presented to him by his parents and wife, Yoomi Kim. Rev Minho Yoo of the Brandon Manitoba Presbytery, presented "The Ordination Charge."
There will be no service at Knox Tiverton, Sunday, Sept. 25, as the congregation will be attending the worship service at St. Paul's in Glammis, at 11 a.m., to celebrate its anniversary.
The Tiverton and District Lions will be holding a Fall Fair breakfast, Saturday, Oct. 1, from 8-10:30 a.m., at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre.

Manor Musings
The MacLennan Auxiliary WMS held its Sept. 14 meeting at Tiverton Park Manor and after the meeting, the residents were treated with a lovely variety of home-baked goodies. Thank you to the ladies for the lovely afternoon.
Geri’s Fashions will again be hosting a fashion day at the manor, Sept. 24. If you’re looking for fall fashions, then come out and see what is offered. Everyone is welcome.

There is a famous landmark in Tiverton that is no longer there. Has anyone noticed the lone elm tree on the MacIntosh property is now gone? The landscape has changed.
Bright Beginnings Child Care Centre in Tiverton is celebrating its second anniversary. Congratulations to Sandra and staff.
Eleanor (Surridge) Thompson received word last week of the death of Louise (Johnston) Eaton in Hamilton. She was born and raised in Tiverton, the younger daughter of the late Walter and Nena Johnston. She is the last member of a family of 11. Her father was a blacksmith in Tiverton for many years. Louise kept in touch with many friends and will be greatly missed.
Birthday wishes this week to Janis Todd-Gollan, Lynn Steinhoff Dodman, Althea Devitt, Helen MacDonald and Bev Ramage.
