Kayak operator reported missing

(LAKE HURON, ON) – Sept. 19, at about 2 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received a report of a missing kayak operator in the waters of Lake Huron between Chantry Island and the Saugeen Shores beach.
 

Sixty-year-old David COUNSELL of Saugeen Shores was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt.
 

The OPP helicopter, South Bruce OPP Marine Unit, Saugeen Shores Police Service, Saugeen Shores Fire Department and Canadian Coast Guard are all assisting with the search.
 

The South Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122.  Should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a secure web-tip at www.crimestoppersgb.ca, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
