Search continues for missing Saugeen Shores man; kayak found
(LAKE HURON, ON) – The search continues for a missing 60-year-old Saugeen Shores man after the kayak he was paddling was found in Lake Huron.
 

Sept. 19, at about 2 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a missing kayak operator in the waters of Lake Huron between Chantry Island and the Saugeen Shores beach.
 

David COUNSELL of Saugeen Shores was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt.
 

The OPP helicopter, South Bruce OPP Marine Unit, Saugeen Shores Police Service, Saugeen Shores Fire Department and Canadian Coast Guard were called in to help. Divers from the OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit have also been called in to assist with the search.
