Men's league wraps up at Ainsdale Golf Course

Another great season of Men’s Night play wrapped up at Ainsdale Golf Course, with the closing scramble, Sunday, Oct. 2.

After two teams tied at minus–11, a shoot-out was needed to decide the winner. 

The foursome of Travis McLaughlin, Mark McBride, Ken Bellan and Todd Thompson, then prevailed over the group of Joe “the Pro” Rettinger, Ken Gardner, Bill Pike and Ken Bresee. 

The final Men’s Night team results had Team Turcotte finish on top, with captain Don Turcotte, Dave Blenkinsop, Roy Douglas, Glenn Grubb, Walter Hogg, Jarrett Johns, Duane Kocela, Dan MacDonald, Jim MacPherson, Jim Martin, Darcy Scott and Murray Wardell. 

Individual Men’s Night flight winners, for a season which saw record participation, were:
 

• A flight, Travis McLaughlin
• B flight, Mark McBride
• C flight, Tim Palmer
• D flight, Ken Bresee
