Rain holds off for the Tiverton Fall Fair parade
The weather was typical Tiverton Fall Fair - cloudy with rain. But it was warmer than most years, and the rain held off for the parade which marched through downtown Tiverton, Saturday afternoon.
The fire truck from the Tiverton Fire Station led the parade, followed by new Tiverton Fall Fair ambassador Rylee Evans, Kincardine ambassador Delage Mowle, Kincardine mayor Anne Eadie, and other dignitaries.
The Teeswater Highlanders Pipe Band also joined the parade, along with commercial and family floats, decorated four-wheelers and golf carts, the Trackless Train, antique tractors and vehicles, clowns, the scary pirates and ghouls of Shiverton, and the Sparks, Brownies, Guides and leaders of Kincardine Guiding.
A great crowd turned out to watch the parade, and then headed into the fairgrounds for the many great events of the 155th Tiverton Fall Fair.
