I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving weekend. We have so much to be thankful for. Our thoughts are with the people in the south riding out Hurricane Matthew. I have a brother down there, whose area was evacuated, and getting information can be difficult.
Well another year has come and gone and the Tiverton Fall Fair has weathered it through again. The stars were lined up just right and the parade went off without a hitch. Well, I’m sure there were a few hitches in a fall fair parade. Unfortunately, for me, I missed the whole fall fair weekend due to a medical issue.

The Tiverton and District Lions will be holding the ‘Shiverton’ event again this year. Tiverton gets in the Halloween spirit for ‘Shiverton,’ Oct. 29 and 30, when various homes offer terrifying haunted tours! This fun event will get everyone in the Halloween spirit and supports the Tiverton Lions. It was a blast last year and I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us this year. Something ghoulish I’m sure. Don’t miss it.
Tiverton Library
Thursday, Oct. 27, at 4:30 p.m., come to the Tiverton Library for pumpkin carving/painting and treats! Dress up, if you dare!
Manor Musings
It was great to see that the Tiverton Fall Fair weather was perfect for the residents to ride the Tiverton Park Manor float in the parade. They looked great. A special thank you to Paul Fidler for all his help, decorating the float with me and for taking over in my absence.

The residents of the manor had a nice day trip to Oliphant for a picnic before the Bruce County weather changes. Every year they go on a fall color tour. Thank you, Dipisha, for filling in for me.
