Crowd lines up for the ever-popular Kountry Kitchen Bazaar at Pine River United Church

It was a chilly Saturday morning, as a long line-up of people waited in the sunshine and brisk breeze for the doors to open on the ever-popular Kountry Kitchen Bazaar, Saturday morning, at Pine River United Church.

Once it opened, the bazaar was awash in a sea of customers, as people raced to purchase their favourite pie, cake, cookies, candy, preserves, Christmas cake, Christmas pudding, and frozen beef pies, as well as the beautiful pumpkin floral arrangements, decorated pumpkins, crafts and quilts.

Patrons were also invited to enjoy their lunch at the Heavenly Cafe upstairs.

The event is organized by the Pine River United Church Women, and has been held on the Thanksgiving weekend for the past 37 years.
