POLICE INVESTIGATING BREAK-IN
(WALKERTON, ON) – Oct. 8, at 5:35 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a break-in at the Walkerton Meat Market located in the 200 block of Durham Street East in Walkerton.
Sometime between 9 p.m. Oct. 7, and 5 a.m. Oct. 8, the business was forcibly entered and a quantity of meat was taken. The list of stolen property includes hamburger, pork chops and back bacon. There is no estimate available on the value of the stolen meat at this time.
POLICE CONTINUE TO INVESTIGATE DAMAGE TO CHARITY DROP BOXES
(KINCARDINE, ON) – The South Bruce OPP is continuing to investigate damage to, and theft from, Kidney Clothes Foundation donation boxes.
One is located next to the Knotty Pine Restaurant along Broadway in Kincardine and the other is located next to Tim-Br Mart along Highway 21 in Kincardine Township.
Reported to police Sept. 1, the damage is believed to have occurred between Aug. 10-27. The boxes were forcibly entered and the donated clothing was taken. There is no estimate available for the loss of the stolen clothing, but the cost of repairs to the donation boxes is estimated to be more than $3,500.
Suspicious vehicles and suspicious people should be reported to police as soon as possible so that an officer can investigate.
