Kincardine Anglican minister, Rev. Dennis Cluley, dies at the age of 81
Rev. Dennis Pearson Cluley of Kincardine, died suddenly, Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016, in his 82nd year.
Survived by his wife, Willa Cluley (née Ascah); daughters, Ann Marie Tout and Ruth Cluley; and son-in-law, Arie Moerman.
Predeceased by his brother, Ted Cluley.
Ordained in 1998, Rev. Cluley was appointed Assistant to the Rector at the Church of the Messiah in Kincardine. He retired from this position at the end of 2010. He was also the Brotherhood of Anglican Churchmen (BAC) Chaplain for a number of years.
In addition, Rev. Cluley became chaplain of the Kincardine Fire Department in 2005. He was a friend, confidant and spiritual advisor to the men and women of Kincardine and Tiverton Fire Stations.
Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, Monday, Oct. 17, 2016, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
The funeral will be held at the Anglican Church of the Messiah, Kincardine, Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Rob Hiscox officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
