Body found on Lake Huron shoreline north of Port Albert

(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) – A body has been found on the Lake Huron shoreline, just north of Port Albert.

The Huron County OPP was called to the scene Saturday afternoon, Oct. 15, after receiving the report that a deceased adult male was discovered on the beach. He was found wearing a life jacket.   
 

Investigative efforts are under way to identify the man. 
 

Members of the Huron County OPP Crime Unit and the OPP Forensic Identification Services attended the scene to assist with the death investigation. Foul play is not suspected.
 

A post-mortem examination has been scheduled for Monday, Oct. 17.
