Police seek public's help in identifying body found on Lake Huron beach north of Port Albert
(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) – Investigators with the Huron County OPP Crime Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a deceased man whose body was found Saturday afternoon, Oct. 15, on a Lake Huron beach just north of Port Albert. 
 

The man is described as follows:
 

  • Medium build, approximately 5’8” to 5’10” in height, appears to be balding and has a thin moustache
     

He was found wearing the following clothing and footwear:
 

  • A tri-colour (blue, dark blue and white) “Fluid” Personal Flotation Device (right)

  • A black, fleece jacket

  • White and black “Nike” running/cross-training shoes

  • Black, wind pants – with a “Performance Edge Pro” (PEP) logo (below); these pants are commonly used by hockey coaches and trainers

            

A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place tomorrow (Monday, Oct. 17).
