Kincardine Minor Hockey supports Project Pink Tape campaign

For the month of October, Kincardine Minor Hockey is supporting the Canadian Cancer Society through the Project Pink Tape campaign.

All minor hockey players will use pink tape on their sticks to help bring awareness to young athletes and their families, as well as increase awareness in other local centres, of the ongoing, day-to-day struggles that cancer patients and survivors endure.

Donations are accepted at all minor hockey home games, and all proceeds will go toward Wheels of Hope which provides safe transportation to cancer-related appointments for cancer patients who otherwise may not be able to get these lifesaving treatments.

Kincardine Minor Hockey appreciates the real estate agents at Re/Max Kincardine who, through their donation of $900 to cover the cost of pink tape, have guaranteed that all proceeds will go directly toward this cause and help make lives better for those struggling with cancer.
