POLICE LOOKING FOR STOLEN DIRT BIKE
(BRANT TWP, ON) – Oct. 17, at 5:26 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a theft at a residence in the 300 block of the Brant-Greenock Road.
Sometime between 10 a.m. and 3:50 p.m. Oct. 17, a green/black Kawasaki KX450F dirt bike was taken. There is a large number 19 on the bike, a Rockstar sticker on the front fender and a Kenthal sticker on the rear. There is no estimate on the value of the stolen dirt bike at this time.
IMPAIRED DRIVER FACING DAY IN COURT
(ELDERSLIE TWP, ON) – Oct. 16, at 3:40 p.m., a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol along Sideroad 10 in Elderslie Township, stopped a white GMC Sierra pick-up truck.
The officer found that the driver had been drinking alcohol. Thirty-two-year-old Timothy HAMMEL of Arran-Elderslie Township has been charged with impaired operation and operate over-80 milligrams. He is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 2, to answer to the charges.
