Driver killed in accident on Amberley Road east of Bluevale

(MORRIS-TURNBERRY TWP, ON) –The Huron County OPP is investigating a fatal collision that occurred Sunday, Nov. 6, around 5 p.m.

A motor vehicle travelling on Amberley Road, east of Bluevale, left the roadway, entered a ditch and struck a building. The lone female occupant of the motor vehicle is deceased. Police are currently attempting to determine her identity. 

The OPP West Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are attending the scene. Amberley Road has been closed between Maple Road and Ramsey Line, at the request of the OPP.  The Huron County Roads Department has put up barricades and road closed signs at these locations. 

Amberley Road is expected to be closed for some time to allow for a safe and proper investigation of this collision. Motorists are urged to find alternate routes around the closed roadway.
