Kincardine Sparks make poster for Remembrance Day
The Kincardine Sparks, under the creative genius of their leader, Pearl (Mary Ritter), worked together Tuesday night to create a Remembrance Day poster, to be presented to the Kincardine Legion on Remembrance Day this Friday.
This is a special tradition for the Sparks. This year, their poster contained red flowers representing poppies, and lives that were lost during combat. The circle of the wreath means that we are all united in peace and remembrance.
Also Tuesday night, the Sparks and Brownies had a chance to enjoy some fitness and dance, thanks to instruction from Jessica of Hype Performing Arts Academy in Tiverton, and Starry Owl (Alicia Noakes).
The girls have been learning about healthy eating and living as part of their program.
