Bruce Power marks Remembrance Day with $126,000 donation to Wounded Warriors
Bruce Power and its partners raised $126,000 for Wounded Warriors Canada at a charity dinner, held in Kincardine Nov. 9.

Wounded Warriors Canada honours and supports ill and injured members of the Canadian Armed Forces, veterans, first-responders and their families, all across Canada. It provides assistance to transition soldiers back to civilian life, while primarily focusing on mental health and coping with the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder.

“It’s humbling, the courage and strength the members of our Armed Forces show every day,” said Harry Hall, vice-president, supply chain, and a veteran. “We hope this donation will make it easier for our wounded soldiers to transition back to civilian life.”

Bruce Power also marked Remembrance Day with an on-site ceremony and by placing wreaths at numerous local cenotaphs.
