Ripley and area Christmas Hamper program under way

The Ripley and area Christmas Hamper committee, made up of local service clubs and area churches, is again asking for donations from the public to help the less fortunate this season.

Donation boxes have been placed in area businesses, and White Gifts will be collected at the local churches.

The committee is seeking donations of non-perishable food items, cash, personal items and new toys. Gifts for teenagers and baby supplies would also be appreciated.

Donation boxes will be collected Monday, Dec. 12; and Christmas Hampers will be delivered Tuesday, Dec. 13.
