Cold, clear evening for Ripley Santa Claus Parade
Sunday evening was cold and clear for the Christmas Celebration in Ripley, complete with the Parade of Lights, along Queen and Huron Streets in the village's downtown.
A good crowd turned out to watch the parade, followed by the children visiting with Santa Claus in the Ripley-Huron Community Centre, and then an hour of free skating. There was also chili available at Ripley Variety.
The Kincardine Santa Claus Parade runs Saturday, Dec. 3, at 6:30 p.m., beginning at the Sutton Park plaza, and marching to Victoria Park. Santa will be greeting children in the Scougall Gallery at the Kincardine Arts Centre.
