Goderich driver issued a three-day licence suspension

(GODERICH, ON) – A 46-year-old Goderich driver was issued a three-day licence suspension, following a traffic stop that took place in Goderich. Nov. 28.

At approximately 6 p.m., a Huron County OPP officer received information about a possible impaired driver travelling from the north on Highway 21 into Goderich.

Officers began patrolling for the suspect vehicle and about an hour later, an officer spotted the van travelling on Maitland Road in Goderich. A traffic stop was completed and while speaking with the driver, the officer noted the driver had been consuming some alcohol.  

A roadside screening test was administered and the driver registered a “Warn”. As a result the 46-year-old male driver was served with a three-day driver’s licence suspension.
