We are so thankful to all the folks who have put up lovely Christmas light displays on their homes. What fun to drive around our villages and countryside and enjoy everyone’s hard work.
The driving snow Sunday evening made us more conscious that it is December.
Congratulations to the folks of HAWK Theatre who put on the play, "The Wizard of Oz," at the Lucknow Town Hall Theatre on the weekend. Such fun to see our young folks do so well.
Our sympathy goes out to the family of John Kuik of Lucknow. He will be missed.
Frances Kingston of Chesley visited her brother, Morley Scott, at RVilla last week.
Nancy King of Chatham and her daughter, Annetta Matoshi, visited with her mother, Largaret McInnes. at Pinecrest Manor in Lucknow.
The Dore family gathered at the home of Dianne Gottschalk in Shakespeare, Sunday, to celebrate an early Christmas. Attending, were Ruth, Ron and Troy Dore; Krista and her friend and children, Serena and Siera; Del, Nicole, Adrian and Brice Dore; Linda, Lydia and Allison Burke; Krista Gottschalk and her friend; Quinn Gottschalk and his friend; Karen and Largaret McInnes.
The families of the late Janet and Jack Farrell gathered in Kitchener, Saturday, for their Christmas celebration. A good time was had by all, and the folks who brought their skates had an extra measure of exercise. The oldest couple was Ethel and John Nother, and the youngest in attendance was Clara Farrell, daughter of Crystal and Jamie Farrell of Holstein.
Maureen and Roy Collins visited with his cousin, Shirley Gilders of Clinton, Saturday.
Mary Anne Kukoly visited with Delbert Hedley and Largaret McInnes at Pinecrest Manor, Wednesday.
It was good to see so many folks attend the Cookie Walk fund-raiser in support of Dave Underwood. The yummies are sure delicious.
