Youth invited to work on posters for Ontario Horticultural Association contest

Ripley’s “For our Youth” Horticultural Club invites everyone (no membership required) to come to a workshop Saturday, Feb. 21, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Huron-Kinloss township hall, to work on posters for the Youth Poster Competition, sponsored by District 8 of the Ontario Horticultural Association.
 

Guidelines, art materials and paper will be available free of charge.

The poster contest is open to youth, ages five to 19, with the theme: "Let's Garden Like Grandma".

Prizes are $10 for first, $8 for second, and $5 for third, in each of the following categories:

• Senior Kindergarten to Grade 1
• Grades 2-3
• Grades 4-5
• Grades 6-8
• Grade 9 to age 19
