Purple Grove news
Hope everyone is in the Christmas spirit with all this snow we’ve been getting. What a wake-up call in our driving skills recently. Hope none of you went on unexpected scenic tours in ditches. Please drive carefully, folks, we want to see you at the Purple Grove concert, Saturday evening, at the centre.

Some from our area enjoyed the dinner and concert at Petrolia, Thursday. They travelled by the Great Canadian bus line.

Cheryl and Carmen Bridge visited with Holly, Kyle and Gavin, Sunday.

Mary Anne Kukoly, Shirley and Doug MacDonald enjoyed the lunch for the Parkinson Support Group, Tuesday in Kincardine.

The Reid family enjoyed the annual Christmas concert and dinner at the Kinlough Presbyterian Church. They had special guests from Teeswater who provided lovely music. 'Tis the season for Christmas concerts and isn’t it fun to enjoy the efforts of the little ones.

Mandy Zuk and boys visited with her parents, Janet and Wayne Rhody, Sunday.

Our sympathy is sent to the family of Pearl White, and to her sister, Largaret McInnes of Pinecrest Manor.

This is such a season of many kindnesses. To the couple at Jean’s Family Restaurant who paid for the lunches of the ladies from the Harbour Church: “Thanks so very much!” What an unexpected gesture. Merry Christmas to you!

Wilma and Cecil Sutton attended the Sutton family Christmas party at the home of Debbie and John Sutton in Teeswater,  Saturday.
