More snow, wind, closed roads in Kincardine area Saturday night
Highway 21 was closed, yet again, Saturday night after heavy snow and high wind combined to cause blowing and drifting snow in the Kincardine area.

The South Bruce OPP reported Highway 21 closed from Amberley to Port Elgin, at 9:55 p.m., Saturday. The highway was also reportedly closed south to Goderich, and later, as far south as Grand Bend, due to the snowstorm that created pockets of zero visibility.

Highway 21 remained closed Sunday morning, causing the cancellation of numerous church services and events.

By 2:10 p.m., Sunday, Highway 21 had been reopened.

The South Bruce OPP reminds motorists who decide to travel, to keep the vehicle's headlights and tail lights on and clear of snow. Remember to keep the speed down - “If you see snow, go slow.”
