Man charged with arson for house fire in downtown Kincardine

(KINCARDINE, ON) – A 21-year-old Kincardine man has been charged with arson, following investigation into a house fire in downtown Kincardine.

Jan. 5, at 2:29 a.m., the South Bruce OPP was called to the scene of a fire in the 800 block of Queen Street, Kincardine.

As a result of the investigation, Kody TACHAUER has been charged with arson, mischief under $5,000, utter threats and two counts of breach probation. 

He was arrested without incident Jan. 12, and was held in custody pending the results of a bail hearing Jan. 13.
 
There were no injuries reported at the scene.
