Congratulations to all the folks who were honoured at Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson’s Remarkable Citizens presentation in Teeswater last week.
 
Many folks enjoyed the presentations at the Grey-Bruce Farmers Week in Elmwood last week in spite of the poor weather.
 
Janet and Wayne Rhody had supper with Mandy and Don Zuk and boys in Walkerton, Saturday evening.
 
Our sympathy is extended to the families of Norine Turland and Althea Devitt.
 
Over Christmas, Diane and Arnold Clifford were pleased to have their son, Grant, home from Saskatchewan; and daughter Christine, her husband, Mike, and grandson, Dominic, home from the Maritimes. Lots of good times were had when the family was all together.
 
Thanks to the folks of Kingarf Anglican Church who sponsored a showing of the documentary film, “The Bishop Who Ate His Boots,” about Bishop Isaac Springer and his wife, Sadie Alexander Springer. Those of us who are related to, or heard about, the Springer missionary ventures, were pleased to see the vintage films of the Yukon and the Northwest Territories.

The typist wasn’t listening well when she reported on the Reid family gatherings at New Year's. Their visitors were Elisabeth and Bradley, Lori and Greg, Jo and Brian Reid. Also visiting, were Sandra Husk of Kingarf, and Brianna Husk and Curtis of Kitchener.
