Kincardine Guiding units enjoy Valentine's Day parties

The Sparks and Brownies celebrated Valentine's Day with a party Tuesday night at Kincardine Baptist Church, while the Guides and Pathfinder celebrated Wednesday night at Kincardine United Church.

The Sparks and Brownies made Valentine cards by putting paint on their hands and feet and applying it to the paper, to create hearts. They also made and decorated sugar cookies, made chocolate-covered marshmallows, played games and had a snack.

The Guides and Pathfinder wrote and decorated Valentine poems, enjoyed some dancing, and had a snack. They continue to work on their magazine which they are writing and illustrating, and for which they are designing ads. The magazine will be published later this year.

Valentine's Day is Tuesday, Feb. 14.
