Decadent, delicious desserts at Trillium Court's "For the Love of Chocolate" buffet

A great crowd enjoyed some decadent and delicious desserts at the "For the Love of Chocolate" buffet, held Tuesday afternoon, at Trillium Court Seniors' Community, Kincardine.

People were decked out in their best red, white and pink for the event, held on Valentine's Day, with a line-up of parfaits, trifle, chocolate squares and cookies, and a wonderful chocolate fondue, complete with fruit and pastries. Entertaining the crowd, was John Pebble of Burlington, with his lively, upbeat Caribbean music.

There were also chocolate baked goods to purchase, and raffle tickets to buy. The raffle winners were Karen Shanks, teddy bear; Donna Elliott, flowers; and Pat Harker, lottery tickets.

Proceeds from this event go to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
