"Northern River" by Tom Thomson is next print in Kincardine hospital auxiliary fund-raiser

"Northern River" by Tom Thomson, is the next print in the South Bruce Grey Health Centre - Kincardine hospital auxiliary's Art/Easel Program fund-raiser. The print is shown above with auxiliary member Dale Chipman; as well as at right and below.

Thomson lived his later years alone, close to the forest, where he painted this quite stunning picture. Had he lived longer, he likely would have become a member of the famous 'Group of Seven' artists.

The print at the Hawthorne Community Clinic is entitled, “Toronto Maple Leafs - 100 Players.”

The starting bid for each print is $200. and they are all on display until Monday, March 6.
