"Hurricane" Hazel McCallion to speak at Trillium Court April 11

"Hurricane" Hazel McCallion, mayor of Mississauga from 1978 to 2014, will be speaking at Trillium Court Seniors' Community, Kincardine, Tuesday, April 11, from 1:30-3 p.m.

Chief elder officer at Revera Retirement Living (which owns Trillium Court), McCallion is a highly-respected leader who has achieved success in a variety of different life pursuits.

As part of her participation in Revera’s Age is More program, she will be sharing insights about the challenges of aging in today’s society and how to live life to the fullest.

Trillium Court will be holding its National Open House, Sunday, April 30, 1-4 p.m. Enjoy a trip down memory lane with the Twin City Echo Band of Kitchener. The group will play old favourites and maybe even convince you to get up and dance.

This event is also a fund-raiser for the Parkinson's Society. Here is a great opportunity to have some fun and help those whose lives have been affected by this debilitating disease.
