Bervie W.I. hosting discussion on electoral reform; and Victorian Tea

The Bervie Women’s Institute is hosting a couple of events over the next two months and welcomes the public to attend.

Wednesday, May 3, at 7:30 p.m., as part of its ROSE (Rural Ontario Sharing Education), the group invites everyone for an evening with Tony McQuail, at the W.I. Hall in Bervie, located on Highway 9 just across from Kinfarm Tire.

McQuail of Lucknow, will give a presentation on electoral reform, explaining how the current electoral system works, how alternative electoral systems work, and why having an effective system is important for creating a healthy democracy.
 
Tuesday, June 13, at 2 p.m., in celebration of 110 years of the Bervie W.I., everyone is welcome to a Victorian Tea, at the Hall. The members are proud to belong to this amazing organization and invite the community to join them for this occasion.
