"Canoe" by Tom Thomson is next print in Kincardine hospital auxiliary fund-raiser

"Canoe" by Tom Thomson is the next print in the South Bruce Grey Health Centre - Kincardine hospital auxiliary's Art/Easel Program fund-raiser. The print is shown above with auxiliary member Bessie Farrell, as well as to the right and below.
 
Thomson had a close connection with the 'Group of Seven' artists. He spent much time in Algonquin Park and loved to paint landscapes. 'Canoe' is one of his world-famous paintings.

This print is also displayed at Sobeys.

The print at the Hawthorne Community Clinic is entitled, “Beatles;” while the print at Boston Pizza is entitled, “Sidney Crosby;" and the print at the Best Western Plus Governor's Inn is entitled, “Bruce Springsteen.”

The starting bid for each print is $200, and they are on display until May 8.
