Mother’s Day will soon be upon us, so to all the moms, a Happy Mother’s Day. You deserve the best.

Condolences are sent to the family of Dugald MacKenzie of Tiverton who died May 2, and to the family of Ida O'Neil of Inverhuron who died April 25. 

LIONS CLUB

The Tiverton Lions will be holding their annual Garage Sale, May 12-13, at the Tiverton Annex, with a barbecue Friday, May 12, at 5 p.m. Donations can be made Wednesday, May 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday, May 11, from 4-9 p.m., and Friday, May 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. No large appliances or clothing.

Wilma Manary thanks everyone involved in the success of the annual collection for the Canadian Cancer Society, conducted in Tiverton and Inverhuron in April. Your generous support is greatly appreciated.

AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY

The Tiverton Agricultural Society is looking for a volunteer to run the Poultry Division at the Tiverton Fall Fair in October. If you are interested or need more information, contact Dianne at 519-368-7114.

LIBRARY

Come to the Tiverton Library, Thursday evenings in the Month of May, from 5-6 p.m., for fun science experiments! The program is for children, ages five to 12.
